REGOLAMENTO

 

Sono ammessi alla selezione del concorso i candidati di tutti i registri vocali, di ogni nazionalità, senza limiti di età, in possesso di diploma rilasciato da Conservatori, Accademie o Università musicali italiane e straniere, o cantanti già avviati alla professione.

La commissione sarà composta da:

Il concorso si svolgerà presso l’Auditorium Folco Portinari dell’Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, alle spalle del Duomo di Firenze, dalle ore 10.30 alle ore 19.00, con pausa pranzo. (Sarà  possibile pranzare insieme alla giuria)

La richiesta di iscrizione dovrà pervenire all’ associazione entro e non oltre il 22 ottobre 2016.

Entro il 25 Ottobre verrà data comunicazione via e-mail sulla data esatta e sull’ora di presentazione per il concorso. 

Si richiede di portare almeno quattro arie per ciascun concorrente, ma la giuria potrà scegliere quale ascoltare delle arie proposte dal repertorio dell’Associazione O.M.E.G.A.:

Traviata, Rigoletto, Trovatore, Un ballo in Maschera, Aida, Nabucco, Tosca, Bohème, Madama Butterfly, L’Elisir d’Amore, Don Pasquale, Barbiere di Siviglia, Don Giovanni, Carmen, Turandot, Pagliacci, Cavalleria Rusticana, Gianni Schicchi.

Requiem di Mozart, Requiem di Fauré, Carmina Burana di Orff.

Il pianista accompagnatore sarà messo a disposizione dall’ Associazione.   

È possibile presentare anche brani al di fuori di quelli sopra menzionati, inviando insieme alla domanda di iscrizione gli spartiti relativi ai brani scelti.

 

I primi 12 vincitori del concorso si esibiranno in un concerto presso la location in cui si terrà il concorso, il 1 Novembre   2016 alle ore 21,00.

Inoltre ai vincitori  verranno assegnati i ruoli principali più consoni al proprio registro vocale nelle seguenti opere completamente allestite:

G. Verdi La Traviata

G. Puccini La Bohème 

G. Bizet Carmen

G. Verdi Aida

P. Mascagni Cavalleria Rusticana

W. A. Mozart Don Giovanni

W. A. Mozart Requiem

C. Orff Carmina Burana

Le location in cui le suddette opere saranno allestite sono tutte molto prestigiose:

 

• La Bohème  Villa Bardini (nel centro di Firenze) con scenografie lo splendido panorama fiorentino, dove sono state già realizzate: La Traviata, Tosca e Gianni Schicchi (quest’ultima con la regia di Vivien Hewitt).

 

• Carmen Villa La Ferdinanda di Artimino Resort (Carmignano - Prato) Patrimonio Mondiale dell’UNESCO, dove sono state messe in scena nel corso degli anni: La Traviata, Tosca, Turandot e Rigoletto (quest’ultima con la regia di Marcello Lippi).

 

• La Traviata teatro Castelfiorentino

 

• Altri teatri e location rinomati di Firenze e Toscana, per le altre opere e concerti.

 

Ad ogni concorrente verrà inviato, su richiesta, il video  dell’audizione del concorso.

Si prega quindi di esibirsi in abito da concerto.

International competition in ROLE of opera singers, O.M.E.G.A. 2016

Regulation shall be admitted to the selection of the competition the candidates of all voice types, of all nationalities, without age limit, provided they are of age, hold a diploma issued by Italian and foreign Academies, Conservatories or music University, or singers already on their way to the profession.

 

The Commission will consist of:

The competition will take place at the Auditorium Folco Portinari of the Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze , behind the Duomo in Florence, from 10.30 a.m. to 19.00, with lunch. (You can have lunch together with the jury)

The application must be submitted to the Association no later than October 22, 2016. By 25 October will be notified by email on the exact date and time of submission for the contest.  You are required to carry at least four tunes for each competitor, but the jury may choose which one to listen to the proposals of the Association airs O.M.E.G.A.: Traviata, Rigoletto, Trovatore, Un ballo in Maschera, Aida, Nabucco, Tosca, Madama Butterfly, La Bohème, L'elisir d'amore, Don Pasquale, Barber of Seville, Don Giovanni, Carmen, Turandot, Pagliacci, Cavalleria Rusticana, Gianni Schicchi. Mozart's Requiem, Fauré 's Requiem, Orff's Carmina Burana.

The accompanist will be provided by the Association.   

You can also submit songs outside of the ones mentioned above, sending along with the application form the sheet music related to selections.  

The first 12 successful candidates will perform in a concert at the location where the competition will be held on November 1th 2016 at 9 pm.

In addition to the winners will be awarded leading roles more suited to his vocal register in the following operas with performance in costumes, scene, orchestra and chorus: G. Verdi La Traviata, G. Puccini La Bohème, G. Bizet Carmen, G. Verdi Aida, P. Mascagni Cavalleria Rusticana, W.A. Mozart Don Giovanni, W.A. Mozart Requiem, C. Orff Carmina Burana the locations where these works will be set up are all very prestigious :

-La Bohème Villa Bardini (in the Centre of Florence) the scenography with notable Florentine, where they were already taken: La Traviata, Tosca and Gianni Schicchi (the latter directed by Vivien Hewitt).  

-Carmen Villa La Ferdinanda di Artimino (Carmignano-Prato) UNESCO World Heritage site, where they have been staged over the years: La Traviata, Tosca, Turandot and Rigoletto (the latter directed by Marcello Lippi).  

-La Traviata teatro Castelfiorentino-other theatres and venues of Florence and Tuscany, in respect of the other operas and concerts.  

Each competitor will be sent, on request, the video of the hearing of the contest. Please perform in concert dress.
